Traditional Japanese floor mat
Tatami matten are used in washitsu or classic Japanese rooms; mainly in rooms used for meditation, drinking Japanese green tea... Suitable as flooring for a zaisu (Japanese chair) or meditation cushion.
Our rollable tatami mats are made out of Igusa, a grass specie traditionally used in weaving these mats. A black cotton cloth is fastened on the egdes for stability and firmness.
Available in 200 x 90 cm and 80 x 80 cm.
