Shipping is an important part of our webshop, we are happy to explain this to you.
FREE SHIPPING AT MIDGAARDSHOP!
We offer free shipping on:
- min. order size of €75 (incl. VAT) for delivery in Belgium
- min. order size of €85 (incl. VAT) for delivery to the Netherlands/Luxembourg/Germany
Free shipping is only valid on regular package orders to the countries listed. For exceptionally large or heavy items or shipment to other countries, shipping costs will be charged as stated on the product page.
You can have the package delivered to your home, but also to an alternative address (e.g. family, neighbor or work) or pick it up at a collection point, postal point or parcel machine.
We understand that you prefer not to pay shipping costs when you place an online order. However, we have to charge some necessary costs such as packaging and protection material and costs of the courier service. We always strive for the lowest possible shipping costs, without sacrificing service, quality and environmental impact.
Ecology is one of our most important pillars. We therefore do everything we can to keep our ecological footprint in the field of transport as small as possible. That is why we outsource the logistics of our parcels to a professional partner who works as efficiently as possible. Our partner is able to constantly optimize the transport process and thus work eco-efficiently: centralized transport, large-scale purchasing of packaging and protection materials, safe warehousing…
HOW MUCH ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS?
You can see what the shipping costs of your package are when you view your shopping cart. So you know what you have to pay before you pay. Creating an account is not necessary.
Attention: the standard delivery is in Belgium. If you want to have your order delivered elsewhere, select the desired country.

We do assign the correct value to a product and link it to a shipping cost.
And the higher the purchase value of your item(s), the lower the shipping cost. This is both economic and ecological.
HOW CAN YOU OPTIMIZE YOUR SHIPPING COSTS?
Buy multiple items or group your orders so that you arrive at an order size of at least € 75 or 85 (incl. VAT), then you enjoy free shipping.
Bundle your purchases with those of friends or acquaintances. This way you are more likely to enjoy free shipping and you reduce your ecological footprint.
Only buy what you really need, what is functional and what has added value.

MIDGAARDSHOP REWARD POINTS = CASH CREDIT!
With every purchase, you receive loyalty points that are converted into a credit balance (in euros) that you can exchange on your next purchase: this way you receive an immediate discount! The loyalty points are only deducted from the sales price of the products, not from the shipping costs.
WHAT DELIVERY TIME DOES MIDGAARDSHOP APPLY?
You can find out when your item will be shipped on the product page. Usually this is immediately after confirmation of receipt of your payment. If you pay online via PayPal or with your bank card, this is immediate. The processing of a transfer to our bank account takes a little longer. If the item of your choice is not immediately available, you can see the expected delivery time on the product page.
We aim to ship items within 24 hours of receipt of payment, so that you can receive your package within 72 hours (unless otherwise stated on the product page). However, the delivery times stated on the web shop and in the order confirmation are indicative.
The delivery time is a maximum of 7 working days. At the end of this period, you will be informed by e-mail and you can cancel your order with the right to a full refund of the payment made. However, you are not entitled to compensation for exceeding the delivery term.
WHAT IS THE AVAILABILITY OF THE PRODUCTS?
We always strive to have as many products in stock as possible. The product page indicates whether the item of your choice is in stock.
In an exceptional case, an item may no longer be available. In this case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you have the option to cancel your entire order free of charge, with the right to a full refund of the payment made.
WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING GUARANTEES MIDGAARDSHOP PROVIDES?
Midgaard bv is responsible for damage, loss or theft of your package(s) up to the time of delivery of the goods. After receipt and acceptance of the delivery, our responsibility expires at any risk.
HOW TO RECEIVE THE GOODS?
Do you have your package delivered at home or do you pick it up at a collection point? Upon receipt, quickly check the packaging of your package. If you see serious damage to the packaging (large tears, deep dents ...), report this to the courier. If the damage is too great, you can safely refuse to accept the package.
If the articles - due to breakage or damage - do not meet your expectations, please contact us in writing. Do this immediately upon receipt of the items with a description of the problem and clear photos of the packaging and/or the item(s) concerned. The more clearly the problem is described, the faster we can solve it.
