Additional information about Rifo-Lab

At least 60% recycled cotton is used for the production, supplemented with new cotton that is BIM (Better Cotton Initiative) certified; this guarantees that the cultivation is sustainable with minimal impact on the environment and that the working conditions were good.
The production of cotton is very harmful to the environment and it requires quite a lot of water and energy to make cotton dust.
The least polluting cotton is therefore cotton that has already been produced and the recycling of old cotton is a mechanical process that does not require water.

The production of these fleece shawls takes place in the family workshop of the Enrico family in Prato (Italy).
