A special Lucky charm
This lucky charm is recently made in the regio where Thailand, Myanmar and Laos converge.
Indigeneous people make these amulets from material they can find and doing so they can supplement their meager income. Here old plastic was smelted into amulets and covered with bits of scrap string and cloth.
It represents Buddha as a teacher with a student, the smaller amulets depict Buddha on his throne. Unique to this amulet is the in the back embedded real fish spine; fish is for both the Buddist as well as the local animalistic relegions a sign of wealth.
