This beautiful vintage incense burner Shochikubai is a masterful, 100% accurate replica of the work from the studio of the famous Japanese artist Masanobu.De burner is crafted with a high-quality iron alloy, bronze appearance and combines aesthetic sophistication with practical functionality. Because it is such a valuable item, this burner was excellently cared for by the previous owners, never used to burn incense, and it is therefore in perfect condition.
Three trees are beautifully displayed on the incense burner: the Japanese black pine, bamboo and plum tree in bloom. The removable lid shows a flowering plum branch. These three trees are the expression of the well-known Shochikubai theme, "Three Friends of Winter".
It is an exact copy of the original work, made by the studio of the original artist and this burner bears the stamp 雅信 (Masanobu) on the bottom. As a result, extraordinary attention has been paid to detail and the high-quality finish. The object is not only functional as an incense holder, but also a refined addition to any interior. It pays homage to the timeless Japanese aesthetic and symbolism.
